Legislation and corporate responsibility
Since we opened our store in Drummondville, we have always taken measures to prohibit the sale of vaping items to minors. Now, with the Law concerning tobacco control that includes electronic cigarettes, which came into effect on November 26, 2015, we have a regulatory framework that we strictly follow.
At our Drummondville store that sells vaping items, here are some additional rules that we have to follow since the new laws came into effect:
- Vaporizer items cannot be purchased by or for minors.
- All customers must be 18 years of age or older to enter the stores, even if they do not intend to make a purchase. If we have any doubt about the age of the customer, we will do an age verification when you enter the store.
- We cannot give away a vaping item.
- Shipping tobacco products by mail or selling them on the internet is illegal.
- The invoice must be over $10.
